NOTICE:  I have not found an authorized location to store the Army purchased / licensed ActivID software since AKO was shut down.

.

If you have a "G+D FIPS 201 SCE 7.0" or "GEMALTO DLGX4 128Kv2" CAC, please look on the CAC Readers page to verify compatibility.  Many readers will not read these CACs.  Some have driver updates, some readers may have to be replaced.

No one should need to "Activate their PIV certificate".  This is because all CACs issued after February 2018 have the PIV already active.  The max life of a CAC is 3 years.  So, February 2018 + 3 years is February 2021.  Meaning no CACs should exist that need their PIV activated.  If you still think you need to active it, I'll ask:  How have you been accessing https://web.mail.mil in the past year?
